Why It Matters
A child who cannot read is often a child who is locked out of opportunity.
Literacy is the foundation upon which every other skill is built. It influences academic achievement, career readiness, economic mobility, health outcomes, and civic engagement. Yet millions of children across America continue to face barriers to literacy simply because of where they live, the resources available to them, or the circumstances into which they were born.
At Literacy Without Limits, we believe a child's future should never be determined by their zip code.
Our mission is rooted in a simple but powerful truth: when children have access to books, educational resources, and meaningful literacy experiences, they gain far more than reading skills. They gain confidence. They gain independence. They gain the ability to imagine possibilities beyond their current circumstances and the tools to pursue them.
This work is about more than teaching children to read. It is about breaking cycles of inequity, expanding access to opportunity, and empowering the next generation to write their own stories.
Because literacy is not a privilege. It is the foundation of a child's future.

Megan's Literacy Lab
A free digital literacy platform, on YouTube, that meets children inside the screens they already love, transforming passive screen time into purposeful learning. With more than 50% of American children owning a personal device, literacy support should never depend solely on a classroom. It should follow children wherever they go. Through engaging read-alouds, skill-building activities, and parent-friendly resources, Megan’s Literacy Lab removes barriers and redefines what learning can look like.

The Limitless Learning Club Workbook
A self-authored workbook for Pre-K through 1st grade children, now placed in 16 Florida public library systems, designed to support children during the most critical window for early literacy development. With a goal of expanding into all 79 regional library systems statewide, this resource is building long-term literacy support across Florida. Each workbook is also distributed through Community Literacy Hubs, ensuring children and families without consistent library access can still receive high-quality educational resources.

Community Literacy Hubs
More than book exchanges, these permanent, community-rooted access points are built in partnership with schools, civic leaders, and local organizations to ensure equitable access to diverse, high-quality literature and QR-connected digital read-alouds. To date, I have stocked this growing network with 3,875 books and reinvested nearly $60,000 into literacy resources, directly impacting children and families in underserved communities.
