Megan Price
Educator | Literacy Advocate | Changemaker
Megan Price is a multi-passionate educator, public servant, and literacy advocate using communication and community impact to change lives.
She is a Public Education and Information Officer in Fire and Life Safety, award-winning educator, and literacy advocate dedicated to expanding educational access for children and families across Florida. With a background spanning public service, education, communications, and nonprofit leadership, her work sits at the intersection of community impact and advocacy.
Currently serving with the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District while pursuing her Master of Science in Educational Leadership at Western Governors University, Megan brings firsthand experience in both classroom instruction and public outreach. Prior to entering education, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications and worked in corporate strategic partnerships, developing the relationship-building and communications expertise that now drives her statewide literacy initiatives.
Megan is the founder of Literacy Without Limits, Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on removing barriers to literacy through community literacy hubs, educational resources, and family-centered programming. Through her work, she has helped distribute thousands of books, developed partnerships with schools and organizations across Florida, and created innovative literacy programs designed to support students in underserved communities.
Her mission is rooted in a simple belief: literacy changes trajectories. Whether speaking in classrooms, community spaces, or public forums, Megan is committed to building a future where every child has access to the tools, opportunities, and encouragement needed to succeed.
